Our Journey and Evolution

Since its creation in 1995, ATELIER 3T has grown to become a leader in the field of mechanical welding. Discover the key milestones of our journey, marked by challenges and successes.

  • 1995: Creation of ATELIER 3T, a subcontracting company in agricultural mechanical welding
    In July 1995, Laurent THOMIR, then 25 years old, founded ATELIER 3T, a small company specializing in the manufacture of agricultural equipment, such as the Bmv Grass Pick-Up for forage harvesters and the SILO FARMER silage straw spreaders.
  • 1999: Investments in laser cutting, machining, and robotic welding equipment
    In 1999, with about twenty employees, the company expanded its facility to 3,100 m² and invested in laser cutting machines, machining, and robotic welding, aiming to become a fully integrated mechanical welding manufacturer.
  • 2001: Diversification into machine tools, naval, handling, and urban furniture
    To broaden its customer base, the company diversified in 2001 into the sectors of machine tools, naval, handling, and urban furniture.
  • 2005: Inauguration of the second production site "A3Découpe"
    To meet growing demand, the company built a second 2,200 m² facility in 2004, "A3Découpe," operational in March 2005, dedicated to cutting, laser cutting, and machining activities.
  • 2005: Creation of the AGRISPHERE® brand
    In September 2005, after producing numerous livestock equipment, the company exited the agricultural sector to create its own range of equipment under the AGRISPHERE® brand.
  • 2008: Acquisition of the Bmv name and resumption of Grass Pick-Up production
    In 2008, after the bankruptcy of its first client, Laurent THOMIR acquired the Bmv name and resumed the production of the Grass Pick-Up, ATELIER 3T's first product.
  • 2018: Creation of the Ô DEcos® range
    In 2018, the company diversified its activities by creating garden landscaping products under the Ô DEcos® brand.
  • 2021: Fire and challenges
    On July 6, 2021, an accidental fire destroyed a third of the facility and production tools. Thanks to the firefighters' efforts and the dedication of the employees, operations resumed within 72 hours. The full reconstruction took a year.
  • 2022: Reconstruction of the facility
    Alongside the reconstruction, the company increased its production capacity with a new 3,200 m² building dedicated to painting and assembly of parts.
  • 2023: Inauguration of ESPACE LAQUAGE, specializing in surface treatment and painting of steel and aluminum
    In October 2023, the company inaugurated the "ESPACE LAQUAGE" site, a modern and eco-friendly facility specializing in surface treatment and painting of steel and aluminum.
